AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS for parents and kids

Reclaim Edu is a space where families come together to create, talk, and grow.
Through art, poetry, and guided experiences, students and parents build confidence, strengthen their voice, and connect in ways that last beyond the classroom.

A woman and a boy are sitting at a table smiling at each other while drawing and coloring a heart on a piece of paper.

Reclaim Edu brings parents and kids into the same space—not just to learn, but to understand each other better.

Our programs are built around simple but powerful ideas:
that communication can be learned,
that confidence can be built,
And that connection starts with being seen and heard.

Through creative activities like art, poetry, and reflection, families begin to open up in new ways.

In each session, we create space for:

  • honest conversations

  • self-expression without pressure

  • moments that bring families closer together

Because growth doesn’t just happen in school—it happens in relationships.

The Family Connection Initiative Launches This May

This program brings parents and students together through creative sessions that focus on expression, communication, and connection.

Each session is guided, welcoming, and designed to help families:

  • reflect on their experiences

  • share openly

  • build stronger relationships

Whether through writing, art, or conversation, families will leave with tools they can continue using at home.

Spots are limited to keep the experience personal and meaningful.

Reclaim Education was founded by Rachel Fletcher, M.Ed., from a deeply personal vision: to build something meaningful that could be passed down to future generations and rooted in the values families deserve—connection, creativity, and the freedom to grow.

As a former educator and instructional designer, Rachel believes education should do more than teach academic skills. It should help young people understand themselves, build resilience, express their voices, and form stronger relationships with the people around them.

What began during her graduate studies as a question—What would education look like if learning truly reflected life?—eventually became Reclaim Education.

Today, Rachel leads Reclaim as a creative learning initiative designed to support young people and families through storytelling, literacy, expressive arts, and social-emotional learning.
